How the Crescent Wrench Tavern Got it’s Name

Welcome to the Crescent Wrench Tavern! We’re Jeanne and Buzzy Teson,
and it means so much to have you here. This place has been part of our
lives for years, bringing us lasting friendships, countless memories, and
most of all, our beloved golden retriever, Wrench. He came into our lives
on January 9, 2009, thanks to our friend and former owner Pamela Green, and from that day forward he was family.
Wrench wasn’t just our dog, he was the heart of JJ’s Cycle, our repair shop
in Watervliet. He greeted everyone with joy, made friends with neighbors
and police officers alike, and brought laughter to all who crossed his path. When he wasn’t “working,” he loved swimming, rolling in the grass,
chasing tennis balls, and eating strawberry Twizzlers. He was pure love on four legs and made every day brighter.
In July 2023, Wrench’s journey came to an end, and our hearts have
missed him ever since. Six months later, we began a new adventure with
this tavern, renaming it in his honor. The Crescent Wrench Tavern is more than a bar, it’s a tribute to the joy, warmth, and community that Wrench embodied. His spirit lives on here, in the memories shared, the laughter around the tables, and the friendships made.
